We did this journey when in Val a Couple of weeks ago and it was a great ski across and yes the views were tremendous.However the main reason for our journey was lunch!! We set off in the morning skiing in Val d'Isere then skiing to Tignes and making it down into 1550 for about 14h00 - we were all starving.
